TriCipher's myOneLogin Achieves Major Milestones in First Half of '09
New customers, industry validation of identity management in the cloud, and product expansion fuel traction toward another hallmark year
LOS GATOS, Calif. (July 29, 2009) — TriCipher, the leader in on-demand identity services, today announced that the company is seeing widespread traction and validation of identity management in the cloud. Within the first half of this year, the company has seen rapid adoption of its myOneLogin service, with many new customer wins, new partners, and industry recognition for its approach to on-demand federation and multi-factor authentication.
For businesses that use Web applications like Google Apps and Salesforce.com, TriCipher's myOneLogin delivers the convenience of single sign-on coupled with the essential security of strong multi-factor authentication. Google Apps Premier users can use their Google login for access to multiple SaaS applications. For Web application vendors, myOneLogin Identity Services enable multi-protocol federation and strong authentication services that can be deployed in hours using simple Web Services calls.
"2009 is the year that identity and access control expands its reach beyond the firewall, into the cloud, as businesses increase their deployment of cloud-based applications for vital business processes," said John De Santis, CEO of TriCipher. "myOneLogin offers the unique combination of standards-based single sign-on and multi-factor authentication that protects businesses from the kind of password-based attacks that we hear about in the news daily. We're seeing tremendous uptake of myOneLogin, from both Web application developers and businesses relying on Web applications."
